Wine Tasting Night with Puchang Vineyard

Natural wine. Organic wine. Biodynamic wine. You’ve heard about them, maybe even tried some. But what exactly are they and how do they differ from conventional wines?

With a combination of traditional viticulture, organic farming and sustainable production, Puchang Vineyard is bringing the distinctive taste of Turpan to the world and redefining the world’s perception of Chinese wine. Despite the extreme climate and ample sunshine results in amazing wines that present the taste of the terroir, they also work through ecological processes, using only organic, non-chemical substances to farm local grape varieties and produce premium quality wines with low level of sulphites.

Join us for a night to experience and taste wines produced in Xinjiang, hosted by Puchang Vineyard and learn more about organic farming and winemaking the same time!

Whether it’s a double espresso or a cold drip you need, take your tastebuds on an Italian holiday with illy this summer at their exclusive pop-up at Haus in partnership with Mandarin Oriental, Hong Kong. From 10am each morning, pair your favourite Mandarin Oriental bakery treats with a freshly made coffee or tea, or stop by for a comforting lunch of indulgent grilled cheese sandwiches featuring four variations on the beloved classic; choose from The Classic, with a secret four-cheese blend with onions and chives, to The Truffle fusing pecorino and gruyere with black garlic, onion confit and black truffle.

To enhance the experience, create your own latte art by choosing a design from a library, where an extensive variety of illustrations are available or simply scan a QR code and upload your photo or image which will come to life on foam within minutes, for you to snap and share on social media.

Envisioned by chef-restaurateur Anthony Ng of Nikushou, one of Hong Kong’s most forward-thinking yakiniku restaurants, Uza offers a fresh take on a Japanese drinking den with crispy grilled unagi (freshwater eel) as its hero dish. The convivial omakase experience is bolstered by a kaleidoscopic array of intricate izakaya-inspired bites, and a carefully curated list of wine and sake by Uza’s in-house sommelier. We may not be able to travel to Japan, but Uza by Nikushou will bring Japan to you.
